There was a time in pop music when major labels signed artists because they believed in them. The idea was to sign great talent, help them make the best records you could and support them as their career developed and their fan base grew. It was a long - term commitment In fact, rarely did an artist’s first release do big numbers. The first record was simply the beginning of a journey - their introduction to the public.

Those days are gone. These once proud and ground -breaking labels, now combined into a few giant corporations that answer to their stockholders, can no longer offer an artist that kind of long – term support. The cost for a major label to launch a new act has become so astronomical that if an artist’s first release doesn’t blow up – the chance of getting a second record is slim to none.

Dynatone Records is a back to basics record label with a singular goal – to provide our artists with old-fashioned development and support. With over 30 years of experience in the music industry, we strive to share our knowledge and experience and provide the guidance and mentoring that so many of today’s young artists don’t have access to.

We are music people first. You won’t find us sitting behind desks. We’re in the clubs, in the studios, in the garages and at the rehearsals. Everyone who works at Dynatone is a musician or an avid music fan and we are all committed to finding the most talented new artists and giving them the opportunity to display that talent on the world stage.

Although the musical focus at Dynatone is rock, we have invited other inspired indie artists and labels from the high desert to come hang at the “Diner” with us. From punk to metal, from hip-hop to country, whatever your taste in music, we think you’ll find something here that’ll make your ears feel happy!
